Never before a volcanic eruption was so dramatically seen

Yesterday around 18:10 Chile time, Calbuco volcano located in the province of Llanquihue and is ranked as the third most dangerous of Chile erupted for the first time after 42 years of inactivity, causing the decree of a red alert by the National Geology and Mining of Chile (SERNAGEOMIN).

In total we have reported two eruptions with large clouds of ash, plumes and pyroclastic flows that has spread to more than 500 kilometers north, which has caused so far they have been evacuated over 1.500 inhabitants of the surrounding communities. Of course we are dealing with an event that affects thousands of people, but being a phenomenon of this magnitude are witnessing truly breathtaking images which then collect.

Alejandro Verges, the regional director of emergency in the region of Los Lagos, He said the eruption has been a “surprise” since the volcano was not under observation.

Interestingly Calbuco rash occurs in the Earth Day, showing all its might, by recording the ability of the planet to surprise.
