Thursday, Arthur Booth appeared at a hearing to set a bail for being accused of several counts of burglary.
When Miami-Dade County Judge Mindy Glazer faced him, she realized that it was a familiar face.
“Mr. Booth, can I ask you a question: Did you attend Nautilus Middle School?” the judge asked the accused.
Arthur Booth then covered his head and started crying to his surprise, and said again and again: “Oh, Oh my God “.
The two began to mourn an emotional and surprising moment.
Many years later, he faces his childhood friend, now responsible for dictating his sentence.
“Sorry to see you here, I always wondered what happened to you. It was the friendliest guy in school”, the judge said.
“I hope you can change your life. Good luck”.
she concludes: “The sad thing is to see how old we’ve become”.
The judge set Booth’s bail at 43,000 dollars.
